Vegetables in Cereal Crust Recipe


Vegetables in Cereals Crust Recipe is a really dietetic and tasteful dish to prepare for all of you that want to eat well and satisfy yourself, too. Prepared with healthy ingredients as cereal cornflakes, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, potatoes, carrots, pesto, etj requires a little time but the result is marvellous.

INGREDIENTS


100g - various cereal cornflakes

50g - minced walnuts

50g - butter

200g - cauliflower

200g - broccoli

2 - medium zucchini

1 - potato

1 - onion

100g - green beens

100g - baby carrots

100g - ( Italian sauce for pasta )

2 - tbsps extra virgin olive oil

- salt and pepper to taste


DIRECTIONS


Place a pot with abundant salted water to a boil, clean and cut all the vegetables into small pieces. When the water boils add all the vegetables and boil for about 5 minutes. preheat the oven to 180 DEGREES C.Drain the boiled vegetables in a colander and then place them into a pan with the olive in it. Cook for about other 5 minutes and toss with the Italian sauce for pasta. To prepare the cereal crust place the cereal cornflakes into a big bowl, add the waltnuts and the butter. Season with a little salt and toss all carefully. Place all the vegetables mixture into a pie pan, cover all the surface with cereal mixture and bake in oven for about 25 minutes, or until the crust becomes lightly brown. Remove from oven and let the Vegetables in Cereals Crust rest for some minutes before serving.
