Stuffed Squids Recipe

Looking for a fresh, healthy and simple fish recipe? Try this Stuffed Squids Recipe, prepared with fresh or frozen cleaned squids, stuffed with minced garlic, parsley, bread crumbs and extra virgin olive oil. Accompanied with fresh green salad, stuffed squids are perfect for a sunday dinner.

500g - squids, cleaned

50g - bread crumbs

600g - cherry tomatoes

2 - garlic cloves

1 - freshly minced parsley bunch

1 - glass white wine

6 - tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

- flour to powder

- salt and pepper to taste


Clean carefully squids, wash well over cool water, pat dry and set aside as you prepare stuffing. Finely mince one garlic clove and the fresh parsley, place in a bowl. Add the bread crumbs, season with salt and pepper and drizzle with 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil. Mix well with a spoon until all becomes a consistent mixture. Stuff the cleaned squids with the prepared mixture helping with a teaspoon. Close well with tooth picks or sew with kitchen string and dredge in the flour. Place a large frying pan over medium heat, add the remaining olive oil and brown the other garlic clove just for 2 minutes. Remove garlic from pan, arrange the stuffed squids and cook for 10 minutes, pour in the white wine and continue to cook for 10 other minutes. Add the the cherry tomatoes and cook just for 5-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, remove from heat, allow to rest for 10 minutes and serve warm.
