Sea Bream with Grapefruit Recipe

Are you looking for a simple and fresh fish recipe? Sea Bream with Grapefruit Recipe, marinated with salt and pepper, accompanied with lemon or grapefruit is a very light second dish. You can use any other kind of fish for this recipe if you prefer, but it is suggested to use smaller fish, and if you want to reduce broiling time you can use fillet. All this fresh, if possible, because in this way you can get the full flavors

PREP: 20 min

COOK: 30 min

4 - sea breams, 300g each

1 - large grapefruit

2 - fennels

4 - tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

- salt and pepper

Clean, wash sea breams and pat dry. With a sharp knife cut 2-3 into the flesh slightly on the thickest part. Season with salt and pepper the interior part. Wash and pat dry the grapefruit. Cut into rounded sliced, without eliminating the crust. Clean, wash and pat dry the fennels. Cut into rounded big part, but really finely. Preheat oven to 180 Degrees C. Oil a large pan with oil, place one grapefruit layer on it, put the four gilthead and cover with the other grapefruit layer. Season with salt and pepper as necessary. Bake for about 15-20 minutes and add the fennels. Bake for other 20 minutes, or until fennels become tender and all have a beautiful brown colour. Remove from oven, allow to cool for 10 minutes and serve warm. BUT, you can prepare this sea bream with grapefruit recipe in another way, following the same steps. Instead of baking you can steam all the ingredients. You can serve this fish dish with a white wine.
