Sea Bream with Grapefruit Recipe

INGREDIENTS


4 - sea breams, 300g each

1 - large grapefruit

2 - fennels

4 - tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

- salt and pepper


DIRECTIONS


Clean, wash sea breams and pat dry. With a sharp knife cut 2-3 into the flesh slightly on the thickest part. Season with salt and pepper the interior part. Wash and pat dry the grapefruit. Cut into rounded sliced, without eliminating the crust. Clean, wash and pat dry the fennels. Cut into rounded big part, but really finely. Preheat oven to 180 Degrees C. Oil a large pan with oil, place one grapefruit layer on it, put the four gilthead and cover with the other grapefruit layer. Season with salt and pepper as necessary. Bake for about 15-20 minutes and add the fennels. Bake for other 20 minutes, or until fennels become tender and all have a beautiful brown colour. Remove from oven, allow to cool for 10 minutes and serve warm. BUT, you can prepare this sea bream with grapefruit recipe in another way, following the same steps. Instead of baking you can steam all the ingredients. You can serve this fish dish with a white wine.
