Greek Salad Recipe

Looking for a fresh, easy and tasty salad recipe? Prepare this simple Greek Salad Recipe, prepared with traditional greek feta cheese, tomatoes, black olives, anchovy fillets, semi-dried tomatoes, mint, oregano, all these ingredients are dressed with balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. Perfect to accompany fish or meat as well.

200g - packed feta cheese, crumbled

3 - large ripe tomatoes, cut into wedges

2 - medium cucumbers, sliced

1 - onion, thinly slices

250g - black greek olive, pitted

50g - semi-dried tomatoes ( optional )

1 - tablespoon dried oregano

5 - freshly mint leaves

- extra virgin olive oil

- salt and freshly ground pepper to taste


Clean, wash all vegetables. Slice tomatoes and cucumber, let them sit for some minutes before adding any oil because the tomato natural acidic juices combine very well with the extra virgin olive oil, and make a delicious dressing. In a salad bowl combine tomatoes, cucumber, and onion. Season with salt to taste and let sit for some minutes. Add the chopped semi-dried tomatoes, if you prefer, black olives, crumbled feta cheese, freshly mint leaves, sprinkle with the dried oregano and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to combine and serve with crusty bread.
