Tasty Seafood Salad Recipe

Would you like to make cooking so much enjoyable and less intimidating? This Tasty Seafood Salad Recipe is the right occasion for all of you. It' s easy to make, very flavorful, fresh and healthy as well. You can serve it as a side dish, or as a salad or to garnish pasta.

300g - squid

200g - shrimp

8 - dark shadows

1/2 - lemon juice

- lemon slices

1 - garlic clove

1 - fresh parsley bunch

1/2 - cup extra virgin olive oil

1 - red chili pepper

- salt and freshly ground black pepper


Clean squids: Peel, separate tentacles from the rest,  wash over cool water and with a sharp knife cut into rounded pieces, or better into rings. Pod shrimp and shadows, remove the black wire and wash with cool water. Wash parsley, finely chop half of it and set aside the remaining. Finely mince the red hot chilli pepper. Place a large pot with water over heat. When water boils, add lemon slices, the remaining parsley bunches, two peppercorns, then add squids, shrimps and shadows. Cook just for 3-4 minutes. Drain squids, shrimps and shadows in a colander. Into a medium bowl prepare the marinating sauce: whisk gently the lemon juice, very little salt, the peeled and minced garlic clove, fresh minced parsley, minced red hot chili pepper, extra virgin olive oil. Mix well all the ingredients with a fork until it becomes a omogene sauce. Place cooked shrimps, squids and shadows into a serving plate, and sprinkle with the prepared sauce. You can serve it immediately or let it marinate for 1-2 hours in the fridge, covered with a plastic wrap. Accompanied with a white wine.
