Bacon Wrapped Pork Loin Recipe


Bacon Wrapped Pork Loin is a simple, tasty and delicious way to cook pork loin, without spending a lot of time in the kitchen and with a very enjoyable result. It is prepared simply with a piece of pork loin, wrapped with bacon sliced, sprinkled with herbs mixture and white wine. Perfectly accompanied with roasted potatoes of fresh vegetables.

INGREDIENTS


1kg - pork loin

200g - bacon, thinly sliced

3 - tbsps extra virgin olive oil

3 - tbsps butter

3 - orange juice

1 - garlic clove, thinly chopped

1 - tbsp freshly minced rosemary

1/2 - cup stock

1/2 - cup white wine

- salt and pepper to taste


DIRECTIONS


Season the pork lamb with salt and pepper. Wrap the pork lamb with the bacon slices and secure with kitchen string. Place a large pan over medium heat, add the butter and then the pork lamb. Cook for about 10 minutes, on all sides, till lightly brown. Remove from fire. In a bowl stir together the olive oil, the garlic, the rosemary and the the stock. Place the pork lamb onto a roasting pan and spread all the mixture over the lamb. Bake for 30 minutes (180 degrees C), add the orange juice and bake for other 30 minutes. At last add the white wine and bake till it evaporates. Remove from oven and cover with a aluminum foil. Allow to rest for about 20 min. Remove the aluminum foil, the kitchen string and slice the pork lamb.
