Lamb Rolls Recipe


Lamb Rolls Recipe is one of that lamb versions that is ideal for elegant dinners. It does not requires a lot of time and accompanied with a fresh salad, grilled / boiled vegetables is a perfect second dish

INGREDIENTS


8 - lamb cutlets

4 - ham slices

50g - bacon

50g - butter

1/2 - cup white wine

1 - onion

1 - garlic clove

- sage

- rosemary

- salt and pepper to taste


DIRECTIONS


Cover each lamb piece with a plastic wrap and using a meat mallet, pound the lamb into rectangles about 1/4 inch thick. At the centre of each piece lay half ham slice and a sage leaf. Carefully roll the lamb cutlets and then wrap with the bacon slices. Fix all Lamb Rolls with toothpicks. Place a large frying pan over medium heat, melt the butter, brown garlic clove just for 1-2 minutes, remove from pan and then add the chopped onion. Brown for 3 minutes, until tender and lightly golden, add lamb rolls and cook over high heat on both sides for 5-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, and if you prefer spread with fresh chopped rosemary. Pour in the white wine and and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes. Remove Lamb Rolls from heat and serve immediately.
