Chicken with Bacon and Mustard Recipe

If you love chicken, especially thighs, here it is a really simple and tasty recipe that will please everyone in the family, including children: Chicken with Bacon and Mustard Recipe. To make this tasty second dish, you have to carve the chicken thighs, spread with mustard and wrap them with the fragrant bacon, which once fired, will become crunchy and very tasty, tender and juicy. Serve this chicken thighs with some roasted potatoes.

8 - chicken thighs

16 - smoked bacon, finely sliced

2 - tablespoons mustard

1/2 - cup white wine

2 - garlic cloves

2 - rosemary springs

2 - fresh rosemary springs

- salt and pepper to taste


Clean, wash and pat dry chicken thighs, remove the skin and then engrave each thigh with a sharp knife into 4 points. Brush each of them with abundant mustard, leting it penetrate into the incisions that you made before. Brush with extra virgin olive oil, add sage leaves, minced fresh rosemary, minded garlic, season with salt and pepper and finally add the white wine. Preheat oven to 180°C, place the marinated chicken thighs into a baking dish and bake them for about 45-50 minutes, by spraying a couple of times with the gravy. Remove from oven, allow to rest for some minutes and serve warm with roasted potatoes.
