Grilled Meatballs Recipe

If you are looking for something easy and fast to prepare on Sunday dinners, Grilled Meatballs Recipe is a perfect second dish to be served with a fresh salad, roasted potatoes, into a hamburger or grilled vegetables, as well.

400g - minced beef

100g - smoked bacon

2 - medium zucchini

80g - Pecorino cheese, grated

50g - breadcrumbs

- salt and pepper to taste


Firstly, take a large bowl, grate the zucchini, add the grated cheese and the minced beef. The second step is to place the smoked bacon for just 2-3 minutes on the grill. Then, place it in a plate and shred finely. Add the shredded smoked bacon to the mixture and mix all the ingredients carefully, until it becomes an homogenous structure. Usually when we prepare meatballs, the egg is one of the most important ingredients, but in this case we don't use it, because the grated cheese help us to unite all the ingredients. At the end we add a little breadcrumbs. Put the grill on medium heat and begin to prepare the grilled meatballs ( not too high). Before placing meatballs to the grill, cover each of them with the remaining breadcrumbs. Grill for 10-15 minutes, until lightly brown and serve with salad, grilled vegetables, etc.
