Creamy Tortellini with Ham and Mushrooms Recipe

Creamy Tortellini with Ham and Mushrooms Recipe is one of the easiest and tastiest pasta recipe, enjoyable by adults and children as well. Creamy Tortellini Are a really well-known first dish, with a delicate flavor, and prepared with tortellini ( homemade, or ready-packed ), heavy cream, cubed ham and mushrooms.

250g - refrigerated tortellini

200ml - heavy cream

1/2 - cup extra virgin olive oil

100g - ham, chopped

200g - mushrooms, sliced

50g - grated Parmesan cheese

2 - garlic cloves

1 - small onion

1 - tbsp chopped freshly parsley (optional )

- salt and pepper to taste


Cook tortellini in abundant salted boiling water according to package instructions. As tortellini cook, place a large pan over medium heat and fry the garlic cloves for 1 min. Remove from oil and brown the chopped onion for about 3 minutes, add the diced mushrooms and cook till tender. After 3 min add the ham, cook for 1 min and at last add the heavy cream. Stir to mix well. Drain the tortellini and add to the sauce, mixing all very carefully. At last add the Parmesan cheese to the creamy tortellini with ham and mushrooms. Garnish with the chopped parsley, if you prefer. Serve immediately.
