1 kg - mussels

400g - pasta (farfalle / penne )

100g - Italian sauce for pasta

100g - breadcrumbs

1 - garlic clove

- a small bunch of fresh parsley

3 - tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

- salt and pepper to taste


Clean, wash very well mussels with cool water. Place a casserole over high heat, add mussels, garlic clove, the chopped fresh parsley, and at the end the white wine. Cover and let cook for about 5-7 minutes, until mussels open. Shell clams, filtrate the liquid and keep warm into their liquid. Brown for 2-3 minutes the breadcrumbs in a large pan. Bring a pot with abundant salted water to boil and cook pasta AL DENTE. Drain in a colander and place them into the pan where you left the mussels. Cook over high heat for 2-3 minutes, tossing well. At last add the Italian sauce for pasta, season with some pepper, mix carefully and serve immediately. Garnish with the roasted breadcrumbs.
