Pasta with Walnuts Sauce Recipe

Looking for a simple and tasty first dish recipe? Try this Pasta with Walnuts Sauce Recipe, prepared with simple ingredients as walnuts, freshly parsley, extra virgin olive oil... The fresh parsley is a perfect seasoning for tagliatelle, but instead of it you can use mint. If you prefer a more delicate flavour and don' t like garlic don' t use it, the pasta will be tasty as well.

500g - tagliatelle

300g - walnuts

90g - pine nuts

150g - freshly chopped parsley

1 1/2 - cup extra virgin olive oil

- salt and pepper to taste


Place a large pot with abundant salted water to a boil. Bake the pine nuts in a preheated oven for 5-10 minutes, until they begin to make a nutty aroma.. Remove from oven and place them in a mixer. Add the walnuts, garlic, the parsley and the extra virgin olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and mix until it turns smooth and creamy. Pour into a bowl and set aside. Add tagliatelle to boiling water and cook AL DENTE. When pasta is ready, drain in a colander and put it into a large bowl. Add all the walnuts sauce to the pasta, toss carefully to combine and place it into a serving plate. Serve immediately with some grated Parmesan cheese if you prefer.
