Snack with Grated Coconut Recipe

Looking for an easy and energetic snack for afternoons, or to give give it to your children for a school picnic? Snack with Grated Coconut Recipe is the perfect one. It requires just a little time but the result is really enjoyable.

350g - dried biscuits

160g - softened unsalted butter

100g - dried, shredded coconut

100g - walnuts

140g - dark chocolate, broken into pieces

400g - condensed milk


In a mixer pour in the dried biscuits, add the butter and mix very well until they become a whole homogenous structure. Cover a pie dish with baking paper, gently spread the biscuits mixture so that it covers the pie dish. Starting at the top, with your hands press the biscuits crust down into the pie dish so that it holds together well. Chop with a mixer just for some second the walnuts, broke the dark chocolate into small pieces. Firstly add the chopped walnuts all over the biscuits surface, then add the broken chocolate pieces, the condensed milk and at the end the dried, shredded coconut. Press once again with your hands and preheat oven to 180°C. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until it becomes lightly golden, remove from oven, allow to cool for some minutes and then cut into small square pieces.
