Grape Tart Recipe

Bread short Ingredients

400g - all

200g - white sugar

1 - egg

150g - butter

1/2 - teaspoon baking powder

1 - lemon zest, grated

Cream Ingredients

200g - mascarpone cheese

2 - eggs

50g - white sugar

2 - tablespoons honey

- powdered sugar

- red and green grapes


The first thing to do is to prepare the bread short, but if you don't have time you can but it to the supermarket. Mix together all-purpose flour, sugar, teaspoon baking powder and grated lemon zest. Add egg and butter and continue to knead with you hands into a floured surface, until it becomes homogenous and smooth. Give it the form of a ball, cover with a plastic wrap and let rest in the fridge for 30 minutes. Meanwhile bread short pastry rests prepare mascarpone cheese cream: In a medium bowl beat together egg yolks with sugar until you get a soft creamy. Into another bowl whip the white of eggs. Add honey to mascarpone cheese, then incorporate the yolks cream, and at the end the whites. Cover the cream with a plastic wrap and place in the fridge until bread short bake. Preheat oven to 180°C. Enlarge bread short into a greased baking paper and place it into a baking tin ( 2 cm borders). Cover pastry with another baking paper, spread over the surface dried beans. Bake for 20 minutes, remove baking paper and dried beans, replace bread short to bake for other 5 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Once pastry cools, pour mascarpone cheese cream all over bread short surface and put in the fridge for 2 hour. Before serving this delicious GRAPE TART decorate it with the grapes and overspread with the powdered sugar . Make any decoration you prefer.
