Light Cake Recipe

Looking for an easy, simple and tasty cake recipe? Try this light Cake recipe, prepared with seeds oil instead of butter, milk, orange juice, cocoa and the special thing of this cake is that it is prepared without eggs. This Light Cake is perfect for breakfast, as a snack or to fill with a fruit cream.

COOK: 35 min




200g - all-purpose flour

250g - white sugar

380ml - milk

40 ml - seeds oil

80g - bitter cocoa

1 - package baking powder

1 - tablespoon vanilla extract


In a bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder and sifted cocoa. Add the milk, orange juice, seeds oil and vanilla essence previously mixed in a bowl. Stir the mixture with a wooden spoon until you get a smooth and homogenous mixture. Lighlty butter a cake tin and cover with a piece of baking paper. Preheat oven to 160°C. Pour in the cake tin all the mixture and bake for about 35 minutes. Once cooked try the toothpick test. Allow to rest for 15 minutes. Remove cake from tin and arrange to a serving plate. Allow to cool for some other minutes. Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve.
