200g - feta cheese

16 - zucchini flowers

1 - cup bread crumbs

1 - garlic clove

1 - coffee cup extra virgin olive oil


Clean, wash very carefully all zucchini flowers, and pat dry with paper towels.  In a small bowl crumble with a fork feta cheese. With a teaspoon fill each zucchini flower with the crumbled feta. Close the flowers and gently twist the petals to seal. In a large saucepan pour the olive oil, heat over medium heat until a cube of bread brown in about 1 minute. Add the garlic, brown just for 1 minute, remove from oil and add the feta-cheese stuffed zucchini flowers. Fry for about 10 minutes on all sides, spreading with bread crumbs and turning carefully, occasionally, until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from pan, place into a serving platter and serve warm.
